A Brief History

Besides being named the 7th fastest-growing city in the U.S., the City of Georgetown is filled with history as old as the State of Texas. From being home to the oldest college in the state to the historical architecture protected to this day, Georgetown is known for fantastic scenery, a small-town feel, and lots of opportunity for years to come. The city is filled with historical markers to document the history. Although the population is growing steadily, it maintains its hometown feel.

Georgetown has a variety of great neighborhoods that are close to some great attractions. This family-friendly community has a lot to offer and below are just a few of the neighborhoods you may like to call home!

Berry Creek

Berry Creek is located about six miles north of historic Georgetown. From large private homes to cozy garden homes, no matter your style, there’s a home design that will fit your wants and needs here. Enjoy having access to many resort style amenities at Berry Creek Country Club. Take advantage of a variety of fun activities nearby in the Texas Hill Country including jogging the extensive trails, swimming off the shores, and spending an afternoon boating on Lake Georgetown.

Cimarron Hills
